Updated Hotel Reservation Information (updated 11/09/07) The online hotel reservation site has been shut down and deadline for discounted rooms has passed. However there are a number of hotels, in a wide range of price ranges, near the convention center where you can make hotel reservations. Either call the hotels directly or use your preferred booking method (e.g., hotels.com, Travelocity.com, etc.) Below is a partial list of hotels: The Peery Hotel (1 block): (801) 521 - 4300 Online Registration Now Closed ...... On-site Registration: After November 12, 2007 you must register on-site. The registration desk will be open on Saturday, November 17, 2007, at 6:00 pm at the Salt Palace Convention Center . You will be able to pick up your badge and APS Bulletin if you have pre-registered, or register on-site if you have not previously registered. Sharing a Room If you are interested in sharing a hotel room at the DFD meeting with another participant, contact the conference coordinators, Hotel Reservations (See updated information above - 11/09/07) The conference Hotel is the Downtown Marriot, with additional rooms being held at the Radisson and Plaza Inn. All hotels are directly across the street or adjacent to the Salt Palace Convention Center, where the technical program will be held:
Transportation and Directions The Salt Palace Convention Center is 7.8 miles from Salt Lake International Airport . The convention center and hotels are easily arrived at by shuttle, taxi, or personal car.
